Dell has announced the new Alienware m15 R7 and m17 R5 laptops powered by AMD. These laptops will be available for purchase on October 5th, 2018.
Dell has recently launched a slew of new AMD-powered gaming PCs. The Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R, Alienware m15 R5, Alienware Aurora R14 Ryzen Edition, and Dell G15 are among these devices.

Dell says that the Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R features the “most powerful graphics” ever put on a 15-inch Alienware laptop, with graphics going up to an NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti.
The Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R now boasts a redesigned Alienware Cryo-tech architecture. The newly developed thermal technology includes larger, thinner, and wider fan blades than the m15 R5 or R6.
Redesigned fans are now included in configurations with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or above, with 37.5 percent thinner blades and 2.3x more total blades across the board. When compared to previously, this permits up to 1.3 times greater airflow and an 87 percent reduction in internal airflow restriction.
The Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R’s other specs include up to AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX CPU, up to a 15.6-inch QHD display with a 240Hz refresh rate, up to 64GB DDR5 memory, up to 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD (single channel) or 4TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD (dual channel), 87 Whr Lithium-Ion battery, WIFI 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

Users can choose between five power options with the Alienware 17 R5 Alienware 17 R5 Alienware 17 R5 Alienware 17 R; Full Speed (max power), Performance mode (graphics priority), Balanced mode (balanced CPU/GPU), battery save mode, and Quiet mode (acoustics priority). These power modes are available with the Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R7 Alienware 15 R as well.
The Alienware 17 R5 Alienware 17 R5 Alienware 17 R5 Alienware 17 R comes with Alienware’s Cryo-Tech cooling technology with multiple advancements including:
- A thermal module with a vapour chamber 3.5 times the size of the previous vapour chamber in m17 R4, as well as a 6% increase in total airflow while only adding 1.3 percent to the interior module’s copper weight
- A smaller and more efficient CPU fan with a 5% reduction in volume, a 26 percent increase in fan blade count, a 2 percent increase in fan blade width, and 17 percent thinner fan blades.
- A 9 percent reduction in volume, a 26% increase in fan blade count, a 2% rise in fan blade diameter, and 17 percent thinner fan blades make for a smaller and more efficient GPU fan.

Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R14
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU and AMD 3D V-Cache technology in the Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R14 provide increased frame rates across all major triple-A games. The Aurora R14 comes with a new sophisticated liquid cooler that enhances heat resistance by 42% over the standard liquid cooler.
The Aurora Ryzen Edition R14 also has six separate lighting zones, which is an advance over the previous Aurora R10 desktop’s four zones.
The desktop is equipped with a novel motherboard that places power connections closer to the sides to prevent airflow obstruction and removes the need for a daughterboard for front I/O, reducing internal wire needs. Each USB port has a direct connection to the main architecture.
Furthermore, all motherboard power connections have been positioned towards the motherboard’s edge to reduce cable clutter and improve ventilation.
Other specifications are as follows: Up to AMD Radeon RX 6900XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 graphics, up to 128GB DDR4 XMP RAM, up to 4TB NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD, standard 2.5G Ethernet, optional Wi-Fi 6 22 WLAN with Bluetooth 5.2, and a 750W power supply are all available options.
Dell G15
The Dell G15 is the last item on the list, a gaming laptop that is suitable for both novice and casual gamers. With a dual air intake, ultra-thin fan blades, copper pipes, and four strategically positioned vents, the G15 boasts thermal engineering inspired by Alienware and delivers superb cooling.
The Dell G15 has NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti graphics and an AMD Ryzen 9 6980HX CPU. It also has a display with a QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, as well as 8GB or 16GB DDR5 RAM (expandable to 32GB) and a 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.
The Dell G15 is a mobile gaming device that comes in three colors: Dark Shadow Grey, Spectro Green, and Phantom Grey.
